Daily Random Verse is a free website that helps people discover the Bible one verse at a time. Our main tool, the Bible verse randomizer, picks a truly random verse from all 31,102 verses of the Bible. We also offer a daily verse, topic-based verse tools and simple guides for devotion and group games.
Why We Built It
Most people read the same small part of the Bible again and again. We wanted a simple, fast and beautiful way to explore the whole Bible, with an easy way to read every verse in context.
Our Principles
- Free and open: no sign-up and no paywall.
- Context first: every verse has a "Show context" button.
- Respect for copyright: we use only public-domain translations (KJV and WEB).
- Privacy: your favorites stay on your own device.
Who Runs This Site
Daily Random Verse was created and is run by Shahzaib Malik. Shahzaib writes the guides and maintains the tools, with a focus on accuracy, reading Scripture in context, and keeping everything free and simple to use.
